Acceptance of Terms

By using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms of use, community guidelines and the privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app.

User Content 

By submitting, uploading, publishing, or otherwise making available any User Content, you grant Alertamigo a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based on, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit in any manner such User Content in all formats and distribution channels now known or hereafter devised (including in connection with the Alertamigo app and Alertamigo's business and on third-party sites and services), without further notice to or consent from you, and without the requirement of payment to you or any other person or entity. You acknowledge and agree that other users of the Alertamigo app may share the User Content that you submit. You represent and warrant that: (i) you either are the sole and exclusive owner of all User Content or you have all rights, licenses, consents, and releases that are necessary to grant to Alertamigo and other users of the app the rights in such User Content, as contemplated under these Terms; and (ii) neither the User Content nor your submission, uploading, publishing, or otherwise making available of such User Content nor Alertamigo's and other users' use of the User Content as permitted herein will infringe, misappropriate or violate a third party's patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other proprietary or intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Proprietary Rights

The app and its content, including but not limited to text, software, photographs, videos, audio, and graphics, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from the app.

Accuracy of Information 

The Alertamigo app provides a platform for users to report incidents, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided.

User Conduct 

You agree not to use the app to: (a) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable; (b) harm minors in any way;  (c) impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to an app official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (d) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any User Content transmitted through the app; (e) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any User Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; (f) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any User Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party; (g) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation; (h) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; (i) interfere with or disrupt the app or servers or networks connected to the app, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the app; (j) encourage or promote illegal activity, including violent or criminal acts; (k) Acknowledge that some incidents reported on this platform may contain graphic or violent images that may be disturbing or triggering for some users. While we strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment, we cannot guarantee that all content will be suitable for all users. By using our platform, you acknowledge that you may be exposed to such content and agree to use our platform at your own risk; (l) promote hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other factors; (m) engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or personal attacks against other users; (n) upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available false or misleading information, including false reports of crimes or safety incidents; or (o) share any private or personal information about other individuals, such as their addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information.

Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the app and its affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of User Content submitted by you, your use of the app, your connection to the app, your violation of these terms of use, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

No Resale of Service 

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell, or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the app, use of the app, or access to the app.

Age Restriction 

You must be at least 18 years old to use this app. By using the app, you certify that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use the app with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Any use of the app by individuals under the age of 18 without such supervision is strictly prohibited.

Disclaimer

The customer service team reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts if they deem it necessary to enforce the terms and conditions and community guidelines. Please note that the consequences of violating the terms of use may vary depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
